South Africa is ‘not falling apart’ says defiant Zuma at start of ANC conference

SUNDAY 16 DECEMBER 2012

South Africa’s president Jacob Zuma said his country is not “falling apart” as he opened a conference which will decide whether he remains as leader of the African National Congress.

The 70 year old, whose five years at the helm of the party that has led South Africa since the end of Apartheid have been marked by corruption and drift, called on delegates to re-elect him today.

Mr Zuma launched what is expected to be a successful defence of his position from Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, with a song paying tribute to his predecessor and ANC hero Nelson Mandela. As the conference, held every five years, got underway in the central city of Mangaung, images of Mr Mandela, currently recovering from an operation, were everywhere: cut-outs were draped from lamp-posts and his name evoked in speeches and song.  more

ANC agrees to ‘Shoot the Boer’ ban
JOHANNESBURG  THURSDAY 01 NOVEMBER 2012
South Africa’s ruling African National Congress (ANC) pledged yesterday to stop its supporters singing the “Shoot the Boer” anti-apartheid anthem to avoid upsetting white farmers and stirring racial tension.

South Africa Facing White Genocide, Total Communist Takeover

Saturday, 04 August 2012
“We are worried that there are organized groups that are in fact doing that planning,” Stanton continued during his speech. “It became clear to us that the [ANC] Youth League was this kind of organization — it was planning this kind of genocidal massacre and also the forced displacement of whites from South Africa.”
Genocide Watch raised its alert level for South Africa from stage five to stage six — the eighth and final stage is denial after the fact — when then-ANC Youth League boss Julius Malema began openly singing a racist song aimed at inciting murder against white South African farmers: “Shoot the Boer” and “Kill the Boer.” Described by the anti-genocide group as a “racist Marxist-Leninist,” Malema has also been quoted as saying that “all whites are criminals” and threatening to steal white farmers’ land by force.
After the calls to genocide made international headlines, the South African Supreme Court ruled that the song advocating murder of whites was unlawful hate speech. Incredibly, the President of South Africa, ANC’s Jacob Zuma, then began singing it early this year too. Since then, the number of murdered white South African farmers has been growing each month, according to reports. Other senior government officials, meanwhile, have openly called for “war.”
The agreement between the ANC and the white-minority interest group AfriForum ends a two-year legal battle over the song that had ignited a debate about freedom of speech, censorship of history and efforts to mend the racist rifts in South African society.
The liberation-era song calls on the oppressed black majority to gun down the Boers, or white Afrikaner farmers who were among apartheid’s staunchest supporters.  more

RECENTLY DEFEATED CONNECTICUT MENTAL HEALTH BILL MAY HAVE STOPPED FRIDAY’S SHOOTER

In February 2012, Connecticut Senate Bill 452 (SB452) was put forward to remedy the fact that Connecticut was one of less than ten states in the U.S. to lack an “assisted outpatient treatment” (AOT) law.
But the bill was passed to Connecticut’s Joint Committee on Judiciary in March, where it quietly faded away because of opposition by those who viewed it as “egregious” and “outrageously discriminatory.”
Had this law passed, it may have forced Adam Lanza to be treated for his alleged mental illness instead of allowing him to roam free, and ultimately to kill 26 persons and himself in a vindictive rage on Friday.
Although there is some variation, the way these laws work in other states is simple: AOT laws preempt older statutes that only allow the mentally ill to be forcibly institutionalized for treatment if they’ve done harm to themselves or others.  This is possible because AOT laws allow a state to institutionalize a mentally ill person for treatment if the state has reason to suspect such institutionalization will prevent the individual from doing harm to self or others.
Why didn’t the legislation pass? Because the ACLU and other “civil liberties” groups and individuals cried foul. The ACLU in particular said 452 would “infringe on patients’ privacy rights by expanding [the circle of] who can medicate individuals without their consent.” They also said it infringed on patient rights by reducing the number of doctors’ opinions necessary to commit someone to institutionalization.
To be clear, no one can know that the passage of SB452 would have stopped Lanza for sure, as there’s no guarantee a doctor or mental specialist would have seen the warning signs in time to institutionalize him for treatment.  >>>MORE<<<

UN Gun Bans, Government Gun Bans, Assault Weapons Bans, and Congress.

UN Global Gun Ban Flimflam

On November 7, the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly voted 157-0 (with 18 abstentions) in favor of Resolution L.11 that will finalize the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) in March 2013.
China, the United Kingdom, and Germany all voted to move the historic measure toward passage.
As we have reported, when the treaty was being deliberated in July, the United States was the only obstacle preventing the global arms control regulations from being imposed on the world.
Miraculously, however, all the points of the agreement Secretary Clinton found so distasteful in the summer were made so much more palatable after President Obama’s reelection, and every single attack on the right to bear arms remains in the version of the treaty approved on November 7.
Within hours of his securing his reelection, President Obama placed a late night call to the U.S. United Nations delegation ordering them to vote in favor of a passage of L.11.
As soon as news of the U.S. policy 180 was confirmed, a new round of negotiations on the treaty was scheduled for March 18-28 at the UN headquarters in New York City.
Gun Control Leg Rl 32842
That was immediately followed by a press release sent out early the next morning from the United Nations General Assembly’s First Committee proclaiming the good news of President Obama’s go-ahead for the gun grab and setting the agenda for the next gun control conference.
Also kindling discussion among delegations was a draft resolution aimed at building on the progress made toward the adoption of a strong, balanced and effective arms trade treaty. That text would decide to convene the “Final United Nations Conference” for the creation of such a treaty in March 2013.
Also by that resolution, the draft text of the treaty submitted by the conference’s president on July 26 would be the basis for future work, without prejudice to the right of delegations to put forward additional proposals on that text.
The U.S. government was now placing its full weight behind convening a “Final United Nations Conference” for the proposal of a treaty imposing worldwide gun control regulations.
In July, 51 senators sent a letter to President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton encouraging them to “not only to uphold our country’s constitutional protections of civilian firearms ownership, but to ensure — if necessary, by breaking consensus at the July conference — that the treaty will explicitly recognize the legitimacy of lawful activities associated with firearms, including but not limited to the right of self-defense.”

Dianne Feinstein To Introduce Assault Weapons Ban On First Day Of Congress
“I’m going to introduce in the Senate, and the same bill will be introduced in the House — a bill to ban assault weapons,” Feinstein said on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” according to a tweet from show producer Betsy Fischer Martin.
It will ban the sale, the transfer, the importation and the possession, not retroactively, but prospectively,” and ban the sale of clips of more than ten bullets, Feinstein said. “The purpose of this bill is to get… weapons of war off the streets.”Feinstein would not comment on whether President Obama had failed to lead on gun control. “He is going to have a bill to lead on,” she said.

Bloomberg Demands Obama Take “Executive Action” Against Second Amendment
New York mayor and noted gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg went on Meet the Press today and told Obama he should skirt Congress and the Constitution and take executive action against firearms owners in the United States.
“It’s time for the president, I think, to stand up and lead and tell this country what we should do — not go to Congress and say, ‘What do you guys want to do?’ This should be his number one agenda. He’s president of the United States,” Bloomberg said.
“What the president can do is number one, through executive action, he can order his agencies to enforce the laws more aggressively.”

America was born as an armed society. Guns are an integral part of our traditions and remain essential for the preservation of our safety and our liberty.

Today more than ever we need our guns to protect ourselves from rampaging criminals and to deter would-be tyrants. The mere presence of many guns in many American households is enough to deter many would-be aggressors.
Gun prohibition won’t keep guns out of the hands of criminals or make us safe. But the attempt to ban guns could destroy this nation. The image of paramilitary SWAT-teams invading our homes to confiscate our guns is abhorrent to everything America stands for. Yet that is precisely where gun prohibition is taking us.
Regardless of the penalties for disobedience, millions of Americans will not peacefully surrender their guns. Many normally honest and law-abiding citizens will lie, evade, and perhaps kill to defend their rights. There are perhaps millions who share the sentiments of George Mason University professor and nationally syndicated columnist Walter Williams who recently editorialized, “You’ll know Williams is disarmed when Williams is dead.”
The bitter irony of gun prohibition is that laws intended to make America safe could spark the bloodiest violence in our history. Gun prohibition is not good for you, your family, or America.  MORE AT SOURCE

You Betta Redneckognize! Honey Boo Boo bought, sold and backs Israel.

Adam Levine: “Honey Boo Boo Is the Decay of Western Civilization”

In the December issue of GQ, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine profanely bashes TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The reality series — beloved by stars like Rosie O’DonnellMiley CyrusAnderson Cooper and Tina Fey – was a surprise hit for the network, averaging 2.3 million viewers per episode.

“Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the decay of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn’t mean it’s good,” snipes Levine, who mentors aspiring singers on NBC’s The Voice. “So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away from them, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened.

NEW YORK (6NoBacon) – Are Israel’s recent publicity problems finally over? Or did they just get worse?
In the wake of the vote granting the Palestinians upgraded status at the United Nations, and just days after “Sesame Street” actress Sonia Manzano calledIsraelis “bullies,” Honey Boo Boo of TLC reality show fame offered a respite.
Adi Segal, an Israeli fan of the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star, sent her a letter from a bomb shelter during the recent Gaza conflict.
“We watch your show every time we feel terrorized and threatened and you light up our faces,” wrote Segal, a college student. “We watch it in our bomb shelters and panic room, and rejoice in the happiness and joy you spread. When you are playing redneck games, eating sketti or dumpster diving, we feel like we are dumpster diving along your side and forget the sad reality that is outside. Your family is a shining beautimous beacon of hope for the Middle East.”
In response, the toddler in tiara took a photo of herself with the letter and an inflatable hammer emblazoned with the Israeli flag and posted it on her Facebook page. Is this the next step in Israeli hasbarah? Is it connected to the recent firing of the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon?
Maybe next year we’ll be able to watch “Land of Milk and Honey Boo Boo.”

Hacking the Human Brain: The Next Domain of Warfare. Why does Lawnmower-Man come to mind?

It’s been fashionable in military circles to talk about cyberspace as a “fifth domain” for warfare, along with land, space, air and sea. But there’s a sixth and arguably more important warfighting domain emerging: the human brain.
This new battlespace is not just about influencing hearts and minds with people seeking information. It’s aboutinvoluntarily penetrating, shaping, and coercing the mind in the ultimate realization of Clausewitz’s definition of war: compelling an adversary to submit to one’s will. And the most powerful tool in this war is brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies, which connect the human brain to devices.

Current BCI work ranges from researchers compiling and interfacing neural data such as in the Human Conectome Project to work by scientists hardening the human brain against rubber hose cryptanalysisto technologists connecting the brain to robotic systems. While these groups are streamlining the BCI for either security or humanitarian purposes, the reality is that misapplication of such research and technology has significant implications for the future of warfare.
Where BCIs can provide opportunities for injured or disabled soldiers to remain on active duty post-injury, enable paralyzed individuals to use their brain to type, or allow amputees to feel using bionic limbs, they can also be exploited if hacked. BCIs can be used to manipulate … or kill.>>>MORE<<<

Welcome to the Obamanation of ‘multiculturalism’; Columbus Police use pepper spray to handle unruly Somali crowd.

Columbus police used pepper spray to control and disperse a larger-than-expected crowd of people who had gathered at a Northeast Side church yesterday to sign up for a subsidized-housing waiting list.
We now have foreign “gimmiedats” in addition to the population of citizen derelicts who collect welfare because it’s so much easier than working for a living.  There was a time when immigrants were legal and they actually assimilated into the American melting pot. Now, they just set up enclaves and expect government handouts.
FYI:  The Somali Community Association of Ohio website lists the following facts: 45,000 Somalis live in Ohio; 99.9 percent are Muslim; 40 percent have become U.S. citizens; and 57 percent are eligible to become U.S. citizens, emphasis on the “eligible” part.
Authorities said the crowd that gathered at Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Rd., numbered more than 1,000 and consisted mostly of local Somalis.
Neighbors of the church started calling police about 6:30 a.m. to complain about loud music, blaring car horns and people parking in private driveways, according to police call logs. Some in the crowd started arguing with neighborhood residents, according to subsequent calls to police.
Eventually, someone from Heritage arrived to set up for the event, and police records indicate that the crowd then rushed the doors. That’s when police officers used chemicals to control the crowd. The event was canceled.
A sign on the rental-office door of the apartment complex said the sign-up was being assisted by My Brother’s Keeper, a social-service ministry of the church.
The apartment complex has 384 units, according to its website. A sign on the door said the sign-up was for a pre-application to get on a waiting list and that only the first 200 people would be accepted.
Hassan Omar, the leader of the Somali Community Association of Ohio, said many Somalis already live at Heritage. Columbus is home to the second-largest Somali community in the United States, and housing is a real problem for them, Omar said. Families are large, and many crowd into too-small apartments. Anytime word of a vacancy spreads, people want in, he said. >>>MORE<<<

Between; The Keyboard Racist and Orphanages being ‘Too White’ in South Africa for $upport through donations, to a Murdered White SA Farmer leaving everything to children’s home.

Gone are the days where people kept their racist remarks in their thoughts or shared it only amongst close, like minded, friends. In this day and age all you need is an internet connection, a fake account and you can tell someone exactly what you think of them and their race without being subjected to public scrutiny or even the law.
Click on any online news article and tell me you do not see a racist remark left by someone with a fake account. Odds are 99% of the time you will find more than one. The shocking part is that all these people do not even care what the article is about. If Sipho or John leaves a valid thought provoking comment chances are the Keyboard Racist simply look at the name and attack, irrespective of whether Sipho or John’s comment are actually correct. You also get the fence sitters who will like someone’s comment if they agree with something that was said against their own race. In this case all the racists will embrace you as being “clever”.
The point I am trying to make is that racists have it so much easier these days, they can insult you and call you names without fear of reprimand. It also shows the mentality of your average South African. You can log onto ANY online news website and you will find the most disgusting attacks from people from various races, cultures and creeds.
South African racists have become cowards. The days of calling someone a “baboon” or “umlungu” in a pub or taxi are long gone and are now only reserved for people who want to keep their racism a secret. These are the same people that you will find at a yearend function shaking Sipho’s hand and trying to be cool by speaking a word or two in Xhosa and vice versa.  They want to seem “cool” and “hip” but once at home and they see the latest government failure they immediately run to the keyboard and lash out. >>>MORE<<<

Here that Stars!  If you want to Adopt From

Africa;there are plenty of

WHITE SOUTH AFRICAN CHILDREN, looking for a home too!

Johannesburg - A Pretoria orphanage says it is no longer getting financial support from large companies as 70% of the children in its care are white.
Elzane van der Merwe of the Jacaranda children’s home
Abraham Kriel Child and Youth Care Centre
said: “The only answer that the children’s home is getting is: ‘Sorry, you don’t meet the criteria for100% black economic empowerment (BEE),” reported Beeld.
But Van der Merwe said the children’s home couldn’t choose which children to take in.
“To us a child is a child. We don’t discriminate. Here we have 250 children between 18 months and 18 years that need care, regardless of race or gender.”
She said that even though the department of trade and industry had withdrawn the new suggested BEE codes, welfare organisations countrywide were still affected.
The suggested codes award points to companies for their BEE programmes and donations.
She said their income had dropped drastically due to the BEE codes, even though there was an increase in the children that needed care.

At van der Merwe (File, Beeld)

Van der Merwe; A  Murdered White Farmer leaves about R30m to children’s home in his will.

Johannesburg - A murdered farmer has left his entire estate of R35m= =4,041,453.50 USD to a children’s home in Potchefstroom – much to the surprise and delight of the head of the Abraham Kriel children’s home.
At van der Merwe, 68, was killed in April on his farm Bloemhof in the North West. He was unmarried and had no children, reported Beeld.
Van der Merwe apparently once told someone near a collection tin for the home that he would not give any money now because “they will one day get enough”.
Catharien Saayman, head of the children’s home, said: “I couldn’t believe it; I lay awake many nights, every now and then looking at the will on my night stand. We are terribly grateful.”
The money would go into a trust to determine the best way for it to be spent.
Van der Merwe had no link to the children’s home and apparently lived a reclusive life on his farm.

Obama Threatens Veto Of NDAA 2013: Too Many Restrictions On His “Exclusive” Authority

The headlines announcing the President’s promise to reject the NDAA are identical to those published early last December, just a couple of weeks before the President took time off from his Hawaiian vacation to sign the measure into law. Somehow, President Obama was able to set aside his issues with the act and grant himself the power to indefinitely detain Americans without charge or trial.
Recently, we reported how those very provisions — those purporting to give the President the expansive and unconstitutional powers described above — remain in this year’s NDAA, despite the best efforts of a handful of constitutionally-minded representatives.

NDAA 2013 – meaningless and dangerous at worst

Tangerine Bolen of Revolution Truth joins RT’s Kristine Frazao for more on what next year’s NDAA means and compares it to the current legislation, one that allows for the indefinite detention of US citizens without trial.  MORE
